Privacy Policy

Toner is a Figma plugin that generates vector halftone patterns. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the plugin.

Information We Collect

We collect anonymous analytics to understand how the plugin is used and to improve it. This includes:

• A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your Figma account)
• Features and settings used
• Processing times and performance metrics
• Error reports

This data is fully anonymous. The device identifier is randomly generated and stored only on your device. It cannot be used to identify you or linked to your Figma account, name, email, or any personal information.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Your Figma account information (name, email, user ID)
• Your design files or content
• Your IP address or geographic location
• Any personally identifiable information

License Verification

When you activate a license key, we verify it with our payment processor (LemonSqueezy). Only the license key itself is transmitted. No personal information is sent through the plugin.

Third-Party Services

Payment processing. LemonSqueezy handles payments as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a license, LemonSqueezy collects payment information according to their own privacy policy. We never receive or store your payment details.

Analytics. We use a third-party analytics service to process the anonymous usage data described above. No personal information is shared with this service.

Data Storage

All plugin data (anonymous ID, license key, and settings) is stored locally on your device using Figma's plugin storage. No personal data is stored on our servers.

You can clear all local data at any time by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.

Terms of Service

By installing or using the Toner Figma plugin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the plugin.

License

Toner offers a free trial (limited number of uses) and a paid license. A paid license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the plugin. Each license key may be activated on a limited number of devices as specified at the time of purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the plugin
• Share, resell, or redistribute your license key
• Use the plugin for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the licensing or trial system

Intellectual Property

The Toner plugin, its source code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Datalung. Your license does not transfer any ownership rights. The output you generate using the plugin is yours.

Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy as our Merchant of Record. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you experience any issues.

Disclaimer

The plugin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the plugin will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datalung shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the plugin.
